(This is a beautiful 4bd/2br orange house in the Mission style, floating in the Minecraft void. You aren't sure how you got here, unless you're one of the residents, but here you are.)

(Around the side of the house is a basement door with a few silvery leaves curling around the doorposts. There is an ominous well out front, and there is a small, well-kept garden on a nearby floating chunk of dirt, kept moored to the main island by a thick chain made of golden crystal.)

(There's also an attic, which becomes apparent as a television wrapped in grody old bedding comes crashing out the window. Yikes! A pair of gloved hands carefully brace around the broken glass. A pale face with glassy, sleepless blue-green eyes stares down after the rat's nest in flat disapproval.)

Why did he leave a scrying device in our house,

"I would have thought you'd at least want to inspect it," says one of the other residents. He crouches down and runs his finger along a shelf, and grimaces slightly at the residue left on his glove. "I've never seen a scrying device that looks like that one."

He turns to the rest of the room. What a mess. "The rest of this, though, is clearly not worth keeping. One might be at risk to catch some awful illness up here."
